It’s been feeling pretty grim and overwhelming out there lately.
The news. The new regime. The vibe. The AI. The doomscrolling. The billionaires. The crypto bros coming out of hiding. The cybertrucks. Some of those mayoral candidates (you know the ones)...
You may wonder “What can I do?” in the face of everything going on. We can start to pull at the little loose threads. If we all grab a thread, maybe we can pull the whole damn thing apart.
The smallest, loosest threads are all around us, right here in New York. There is so much work to get done in New York, so let’s all jump in and help and support our neighbors and communities.
We’re not going to make a difference online. We’re going to do it in the streets! We might even make a new friend or two.
It’s easy to get overwhelmed, but it starts by leaving the house, getting involved, and saying “hi!”
